I must confess to being particularly proud of this little story as it offers the reader a little more of the real me than my dirty mind alone: namely my sense of humour. I deliberately set out to write a funny, erotic, short story – a combination that I know rarely marries well – but I do feel as though I have been successful here and I am delighted with the response from those who have already enjoyed it.

However, Nicole accidentally gets herself a little hot and bothered in the process and quickly allows things go way beyond the point she first anticipated.

Naughty Nicole was my very first erotic, short story. I have tidied it up a little, but essentially it remains the same.

This, by far my most popular story so far, is my take on the classic naughty schoolgirl gets punished scenario. It’s pretty full-on really and the action gets going right from the start. One for those of you who enjoy a little control and surrender.

Caroline tells the tale of a young man’s longing for his best friend’s mother and how it is finally realised during a summer holiday in France.

There are certainly romantic elements to this novella, but I see it more as a coming of age story – one that explores the erotic build-up and ultimate exploration of the two main characters’ physical passion for one another.

This story means a great deal to me for a number of reasons: Caroline is a real person and elements of the story are based upon true events. For now, however, I will not say exactly where reality ends and fantasy begins.

This was only the third erotic short story that I ever wrote and it was the one that began to get me noticed as a serious writer of adult fiction. At the end of 2006 Caroline was awarded the prize of ‘Story of the Year’ at Lusty Library, an honour I am very proud to have received.
